Farmdrop represents a new approach to food retailing whereby the benefits of cutting out the middlemen are shared between customers who enjoy fresher, healthier food at lower prices, and smaller scale producers who enjoy best-ever trading terms. Our mission is to Fix The Food Chain. We already deliver food around London, Bristol and Bath using our own fleet of electric vans and are scaling further afield in 2018. Our supporters include London foodies Gizzi Erskine and Tommi Miers, we work closely with the Soil Association and have been backed by the entrepreneurs behind Asos, Love Film, Zoopla, and Street Car. As of May 2017 we received a £7M Series A investment from Atomico. Farmdrop founder Ben Pugh has been shortlisted for the Bloomberg 2016 Innovation award for changing the environment.
Your Mission
Farmdrop’s first Technical Recruiter is tasked with attracting and hiring exceptional Tech and Engineering talent. You will influence, shape and organise recruiting priorities, develop interview processes and produce the best and most effective hiring strategies. You care deeply about providing realistic insights using data and analytics, as well as trusting your creative gut when boldness is required. You know what it takes to hire exceptional talent.
You will own the Tech hiring process. You will approach, engage and guide the most exceptional and motivated candidates through to offer stage. You will embody what it means to be Farmdrop, represent our vision and values and describe the future opportunities for progression. Your natural personality and emotional intelligence will prove crucial in developing lasting relationships with a diverse range of candidates.
You’ve got experience in recruiting Technical and Engineering talent. You know what sets a good candidate apart from a great one. Managing the candidate pipeline is something you do with your eyes closed. You will approach candidates by leveraging multiple channels such as referrals, online channels, events etc.
Your mission involves creating a best-in-class organisation to the envy of technology companies across the globe. You will be working in a high-intensity company where everybody’s throughput is paramount and the expectations are considerable. We’re looking for trailblazers with a unique and dedicated style who want to play a fundamental part in creating something extraordinary.
