About the Role

As a Territory Lead for Uber Eats in Italy, you will have the unique opportunity to develop and scale our food delivery platform in a region within Italy (North region with Milan / South region with Rome). You’ll work closely together with your team and the broader Italy EATS team to deliver success to your region while being focussed on growth, marketplace efficiency, quality, P&L and customer experience.
What You’ll Do

  • Set mission and strategy with your team and oversee the results-driven execution in your territory by working closely together with the central Italy team.
  • Growth of the business: Execution is key and you will be responsible for growing orders, eater loyalty and revenue in a highly competitive space.
  • Oversee budgeting, P&L performance and growth for your territory
  • Build the business in your territory from the ground up by being close to the operations and understand the needs of the customers on all sides of the marketplace.
  • Expand to other cities in your market
  • Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with the broader Italian team, Product team, and Engineering to communicate product and process needs to deliver a good product experience to our customers.
  • Initiate creative local marketing strategies, communications, partnerships and user growth campaigns targeted both at the consumer and the restaurant partners

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 6 years in business management experience in operations, strategy, technology, business development or a similar area.
  • A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement - you understand what drives value for each group in our marketplace and can make sensible commercial decisions to reflect this
  • Effective project management - experience delivering on a multifaceted projects with many stakeholders
  • Stellar relationship building skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen, from negotiation to execution
  • Experience leading a team, with willingness to invest in the coaching and development of your team members
  • Ability to adapt with humility and resilience
  • A passion for Uber Eats and growing the brand
