Being a People Operations Trainee at Avrios

How you do it:

• You work closely together with the hiring managers to find new top talent
• You participate in the entire recruitment process, from the first job post all the way to the last interview
• You build a strong employer brand, anything from social media to email campaigns
• You create and implement workshops for employees
• You lead and take responsibility for projects depending on your preferences and skills, incl. own budgets
• You learn new things everyday and get yourself ready to take the next step in your career

A day in the life of a People Operations Trainee at Avrios:

We just started the day with a short stand-up meeting and a cup of coffee to discuss the goals for today. We have a big pile of CV’s that just came in so we first check those and get back to the candidates. Next up, the company really needs a great Java developer. You would love to start looking for one but you have no clue what Java actually is. You ask one of the engineers to give you a brief introduction and schedule a follow-up for a one-on-one tutorial. During lunch you hear someone talk about company’s X great Facebook Employer page. Why don’t we have one? You decide to change this and spend the rest of the afternoon figuring out what we should do, and actually do it. No one is stopping you! At the end of the day you get a Slack message from our CTO, he just decided to hire one of the people you introduced to him, great job!

Requirements

What we ask for

• You have a Bachelor’s degree
• You have 0-2 years of working experience
• You have a great entrepreneurial drive to get things done
• You believe making a mistake is just another reason to try again
• You are tech-savvy
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
• You have a Swiss, EU passport, or Schengen citizenship (or another permit that allows you to work in Switzerland).
