A day in the life of a People Operations Trainee at Avrios:
We just started the day with a short stand-up meeting and a cup of coffee to discuss the goals for today. We have a big pile of CV’s that just came in so we first check those and get back to the candidates. Next up, the company really needs a great Java developer. You would love to start looking for one but you have no clue what Java actually is. You ask one of the engineers to give you a brief introduction and schedule a follow-up for a one-on-one tutorial. During lunch you hear someone talk about company’s X great Facebook Employer page. Why don’t we have one? You decide to change this and spend the rest of the afternoon figuring out what we should do, and actually do it. No one is stopping you! At the end of the day you get a Slack message from our CTO, he just decided to hire one of the people you introduced to him, great job!
