We are looking for an experienced “change the bank” contractor to stand up our treasury function, reporting to the CFO. The ideal candidate will be both fastidious and proactive in their approach to continuous improvement. Experience of a variety of role types would be beneficial, as the role will involve managing both external vendors and internal stakeholders; interpreting requirements and liasing with the tech team; as well as “getting your hands dirty” and doing the nuts and bolts of implementation.

Depending on fluctuations in workload, the role may also involve systems implementation in other areas of finance.

Required

  • Strong academic qualifications
  • Strong experience of internal treasury reporting / position monitoring within an investment or retail bank
  • Minimum of five years’ experience of end-to-end system implementation or “change the bank” experience
  • Experience of interpreting requirements for IT developers and ensuring delivery of relevant data
  • Experience of working with outsourced teams
  • Experienced in working in multi-disciplined development teams
  • Resilient and determined character suitable for dealing with the challenges faced in what is a ‘start-up’ environment
  • Can do, positive mentality
  • Flexible working approach which enables the individual to deliver against what may be time critical requirements
  • Active desire to want to ‘make a difference’
