This means we need more amazing people in our team, and we are now looking for a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Administrator to work closely with the CTO to select, implement and maintain a virtual learning environment for our brand new Data Academy.

What you’ll do:

As the VLE Admin at Decoded, you’ll report directly to our CTO and help select and implement a learning environment for our 18 month blended learning Academy. We will be going live in January 2019 so you’ll have no issues working to tight deadlines with a responsive team.

You will:

• Advise on the best platform for our requirements
• Implement the end-to-end use of the platform for internal users and clients
• Liaise with our partners who will also use the platform
• Maintain the platform as new clients and learners are on-boarded
• Have the opportunity to build a team to support your work

Who are you?

You are highly efficient, adaptable and ambitious. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment but you also know the importance of team coherence.

You have:

• 3+ years experience in VLE administration
• Proficiency creating and managing blended learning (online and in-person) long form (> 12 month) programmes
• Proficiency with VLE tools such as Moodle and Articulate
• Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Github and Slack
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• An obsession with reliability and performance
• Passion for tech and education

Big bonus if you also have:

• Experience using Apprenticeship platforms such as Aptem or Bud
• Experience writing Markdown
