allplants is a VC-backed start-up on a mission to become Earth’s most forward-thinking food company, looking for talented and experienced warehouse lead. We believe food is the bridge between people and planet, so we put social impact first, while feeding the world health, happiness, and love through delicious, plant-based food. Since launching in Jan17 we have bagged awards, serving >250,000s meals through our 5-star, online shop and subscription service.

The role

Working with us, you will:

• Ensure ingredients and consumables are accurately picked and transported to the production areas in the timely manner
• Manage finished meals storage and collections as per outbound procedures
• Manage effective processes and operating procedures within the warehouse department
• Undertake staff management procedures in line with allplants HR guidelines, managing staff performance, training and development
• Safeguarding warehouse operations, people and contents through security, hygiene and Health and Safety procedures
• Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and replacements when required
• Drive lean operations and continuous improvements
• Work closely with key departments to include Production, Procurement and Logistics.
• Implement and sustain 6S

Requirements and qualifications

• 3+ years of warehousing experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
• Strong IT skills
• Skills in inventory control and management
• Strong analytical capabilities to plan budgets, monitor inventory, assess data, and create reports
• Physical ability to lift materials weighing up to 20 kg
• Ability to create and manage warehouse processes

Prefered:

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
• Knowledge of Food Safety
