EyeEm is looking for an enthusiastic and driven working student to support our Finance team. You love finance and accounting, and you want to work in a creative and dynamic environment. And the best part: you won’t be fetching anyone coffee. We are looking for someone to commit to 20 hours per week at our Kreuzberg studio.

This role will allow you to work at the heart of a fast growing start-up in Berlin. You will be able to gain insights into our finance structures as well as the stock photography market. As a working student in finance at EyeEm you will have the opportunity to learn about everything we do from marketing, engineering, sales to of course photography.

Please note: you must be enrolled as a university student (Bachelors or Masters) until September 2018 at the earliest to be considered for this position.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support our Finance team with daily tasks.
  • Manage invoices and other documents.
  • Handle income and expenditure.
  • Be proactive and help improve financial processes continuously.
  • You love crunching numbers and financial processes.
  • You have strong analytical skills and you can structure and organize your work easily.
  • You are detail-focused with a strong emphasis on quality control.
  • You have a hands-on mentality.
  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

TECHNICAL MUST-HAVES

  • You are enrolled as a student in Finance, Economics or any related field and already completed 3 semesters.
  • Ideally you already have some previous experience in accounting/finance.
  • You speak German on a native or very good level, and fluent English is a MUST.
  • Very good understanding of fundamental accounting standards.
  • You can handle Excel well.
  • You have 20 hours per week to spare.
